Gin Garne opens tonight
THE GIN GAME, the award winning play
about two senior citizens locked in combat
at the card table opens at Huron Country
Playhouse August 15.
Starring Eric House and Libby Morris,
THE GIN GAME focuses on Weller Martin
and Fonsia Dorsey, both of whom have their
sweet moments as well as their sour ones.
Fonsia is a newcomer to the senior citizens'
homeand Weller teaches her to play gin.
The big problem that arises is that Rosie
cannot avoid winning, even when she tries to
lose and Weller's patience gradually thins.
It's funny and witty, moving and tender,
with moments that bring tears of laughter
and wistfulness to everyone's eyes.
