Decision CRTC 84-512 Following a Public Hearing in Hull, Quebec on 14 February 1984, the Commission approves the applications by fin C. Therefore, the competing application by Saugeen Telecable Ltd., Fergus -Elora Cable T.V. Ltd. and CUC Ltd., representing a company to be incorporated, to provide cable television service to Blyth is denied. In addition to the priority services required to be carried by regulation, the Commission approves the carriage of the following optional services: WJBK" TV (CBS), WDIV '(NBC), WTVS (PBS) Detroit, Mich., and KOMO-TV (ABC) Seattle, Wash., to be received via satellite from the CANCOM network, It also approves the carriage of the signals of CFPL-TV London and CHCH-TV Hamilton which are receivable over-the=air, The -Commission approves, as a condition Of licence, the proposed maximum monthly subscriber fee of `17.00 and a maximum installation fee of '35.00 at each location. It also approves the carriage of the signals of CBFT Montreal, to be received via satellite, and CFPL-TV, ICVPL-FM London, and CFCA•FM Kitchener, which are receivable over -the -air. The proposal to distribute the signals of CIRK-FM Edmonton, CKRW Whitehorse, Yukon, CKO-FM•2 Toronto, CFMI-FM Vancouver, CFQM-FM Moncton, VOCM St. John's, CITE -FM and CKAC Montreal, which are received fro the CANCOM network', will be ad. - - - In a separate decision. As noted in public notice CRTC 1984-124 doted 28 May 1984. the Commission is currently reviewing the cable carriage of radio signals and will soon issue proposed amendments to the cable television regulations related to this issue. Following a public hearing in Hull, Que. on 14 February 1984. the Commission approves the applicotion by Sougeen Telecable Ltd., Fergus -Elora Cable T.V. Ltd. and CUC Ltd., representing a company to be incorporated (the consortium), for a licence to carry on a broadcasting receiving undertaking to serve Clifford by distributing the signals of the CANCOM network and other broadcasting services. The Commission will issue a licence expiring 30 September 1987. subject to the conditions of licence specified in this decision and in the licence to be issued. In addition to the priority services required to be carried by regulation, the Commission approves the carriage of the following optional services WJBK•TV (CBS), WDIV (NBC), WTVS (PBS) Detroit. The children involved have work- ed on theatre games and skills from 1-4 p.m. each weekday., " This week the children have been rehears- ing the original play; "Frankie's Fright". This 45 minute play will be performed this Saturday, July 14 at 2 p.m. It will feature all 17 children who are between the ages of 9 and 13. Tickets may be purchased in advance or at the door: children: $1 and adults $2. Itis a production to be enjoyed by all. So conte and be delightfully horrified. Council passed a resolution approving the purchase of a stand-by immersion pump at a cost of $1.733 from Dale Pumps, Clinton.
