Counterfeit $10 notes of the Cana-
dian Bank of Commerce of the issue

The counterfeits which have so far
been seen are numbered 452,477, in
red over blaok, whereas the genuine
notes now issued by the bank are
numbered in blue. The colors used
are also much deeper ..in tint than
those of the genuine notes, especial-
ly the yellow and red on the face.
On the back there are two 'or three
flaws in thedesign, apparently
made by blots, which eppeear on ,the
word "bank", whereit, occurs at the
foot of the note. The counterfeits
are countersigned by H. O'Reilly.
