• A few weeks ago, the
town requested the area
neighbors to attend, ,a

th`eeparkland, Which is
presently just a grassy
area about an acre in
size.

A committee was
formed at the meeting
with the Parks and
Recreation Committee to
bring back suggestions to
the town as to what the
neighborhood would like
to see on the land. Hassall
is the' chairman and
stated that the committee
will prepare a

questionnaire to find out
answers.
Larry McGregor, of 302
Gibbons Street, has of-
fered to draw up rough
plans of the proposed
park. By the end of this
year the playground
equipment may be in
place and next year? the
shrubbery will be
planted.

concerning the parkland
beside the pollution plant
will be held for that
neighborhood on June 19.
