Recreation Committee wants the town to get greater use out of Victoria Park and one of first moves to;' attract the public could be an annual farmer's market. The committee has also suggested to the town that a brochure be made up to outline events at the park, as well to provide a brief historical sketch of the site. Also proposed for the revitalization of the park is landscaping, - in- stallation of playground equipment and other events like fashion and art shows, outdoor weddings and dances. Seaforth Councillor William. Bennett said that some local merchants have expressed interest in the park scheme and added the facility is already well enough equipped . to meet the demands of the project.
