Clark to be honored at special event
Colborne Township
Council has planned a
special event to honor
John Clark who has been
an employee of Colborne
Township for many years
and who, due to health
reasons, has, decided to
take an early` retirement.
John Clark's night is to
be held in Saltford Valley
Hall on Friday, April 18
at 8 p.m. This is to be a
sotial evening and a
family night with cards
for the adults and
crokinole for the
children.
This is an invitation to
Colborne Township
residents and friends of
Mr. and Mrs. John Clark
and family to come out
and make John Clark's
night an enjoyable and
memorable event.
CANCER DRIVE
The Cancer drive 'for
funds for cancer research
has started and can -

the roll call and the
assistant secretary, Mrs.
Gerald Feagan, took care
of the secretary's duties
for the meeting. •
Due to the fact that
several members are on
the s ck list at present and
several members are
enjoying a warmer
climate for a holiday, the
attendance was hot as
encouraging as hoped but
it was a. very interesting
and worthwhile meeting.

interest in the quilting,
