Here Friday the Sailors rallied .with;two goals in the final Period to tie Lucknow 6-6 and Sunday they edged .PergU s:.3-1, '- ` The ailoi s trailed first -place Lucknow by two points ': in the stan- dings before Friday's game. The teams tied the game :but Sunday's win moved the Sailors even in points with the Lancers. Lucknow led through mdst of the game, maintaining a• 4-3 edge after one period and a 6-4 bulge after 40 minutes. The Sailors scored the period to salvage the tie. linemates Colquhoun and Fremlin. Graham Hamilton increased the lead to `two goals in the second period on a powPr play' effort 'midway through the period. Paul Kelly added an insurance marker in the final period, scoring on an una"ssistedeffort:: - •• • • 'Fergus finally beat Bob. Hnatyk in the Sailor net at 17.36 for their only goal. BY TD' The GD CI; senior Vikings `° boosted their Huron -Perth 'Conference record to six wins and no losses with a victory over Seaforth, 61-55,in boys' basketball action last Thursday in Seaforth_ The Seaforth • squad, roileb' improved over recent seasons, played well on their'horne court, tra ling_; by only three points, 26-23 at halftime. The small floor ham- pered the Vikings' attach, but they persevered to win by six points. Dennis , Donnelly with 17 and Phil Aubin with 15 points topped the Viking scorers.
