Sailors win, tie in weekend league dames
The Goderich Sailors
racked up three points on
the weekend withawin_
and a tie in two Inter-

Here Friday the Sailors
rallied .with;two goals in
the final Period to tie
Lucknow 6-6 and Sunday

dings before Friday's
game. The teams tied the
game :but Sunday's win
moved the Sailors even in
points with the Lancers.
Lucknow led through

after one period and a 6-4
bulge after 40 minutes.
The Sailors scored the
period to salvage the tie.

The Seaforth • squad,

recent seasons, played
well on their'horne court,
tra ling_; by only three
points, 26-23 at halftime.
The small floor ham-
pered the Vikings' attach,
but they persevered to
win by six points.
Dennis , Donnelly with
17 and Phil Aubin with 15
points topped the Viking
scorers. Andy Moore had
nine, Ted Doherty seven,
