Last week I heard of an,
incident that brought
back very pleasant,
rnetnories of the good Old
days when mother and
dad and the children,
neighbours and friends,
after, a cold spell like we
have had recently when
•the ponds froze over and
we knew for sure they
were Safe, donned .Skates
and had a skating party.
Apparently Pat Whitely
has just such a pond on
his farm and the Whitleys
being the hospitable
people they are have
made this a happy time
for many in the com-
munity. I'm quite sure all
who have enjoyed the
skating, join in saying
thanks.
