motion stating that
female civilian personnel
who do not have their own
transportation may be
driven to and from the
police station in a police
cruiser when coming on
duty at niidni„ght or
leaving duty at midnight,
subject. to that personnel
diving within the present
corporatq: limits` of the
town.

the month of December;

annual report will also .be
circulated to members of
town council for study.
Accounts totalling
$33,027.26 were accepted

draft budget for the year
was tabled for further
review.

and his officers patrol on
foot more often,
especially around the
Square. He said he felt

a new convection oven for the Alexandra Marine
and General kitchen at a cost of$3,876. Here, Food

The Poppy Committee of Goderich Legion Branch 109
wishes to thank the citizens ofGoderich and district for
their generous support of the 1979 Poppy campaign. 'e
also wish to thank the members of the Branch and th
Ladles Auxiliary of Branch 109 who assisted to the
cenotaph service, Rawson's Men's Shop for the window
display, Wayne Young for his P.A. system, Sherwood
Transportation for the use of the bus for the World War.
1 veterans and the Signal -Star for coverage of this cam-
paign.
The final statement of the 1979 campaign indicates
receipts totalling '4,673.42 Which consisted of Lapel
Poppies -'2,709.42, sale of wreaths - '691.00, car poppies
-'58.00, donations -'1,117.00 and the draw '98.00. Expen-
ses for campaign supplies from Ontario Command were
'1,597.75 with a net profit of '3,075.67 being deposited In
the Branch 109 Poppy Trust Fund.
In the past year the Poppy Fund of Brahch 109 was
utilized to donate 3 cribs to the Paediatric wing of the
Alexandra Marine and General Hospital at a cost
of '2,100. A wheel chair was donated to the .1.0.0.F.
Loan Service, '500. was presented as 3 student bursaries
and '1,035. was donated towards the purchase of a
special van for use • in the Home Dialysis Program ser-
