AGNES D. - CAMERON A Goderich native and well-known resident of BayfieId, Agnes D. .Caxn.en, died in Clinton on Dei*ember 16, She was 75 years old. - Mrs. Cameron. was born in Goderich on March 26, 1904 to the late John and Emma MacDonald. She attended Victoria Public School in Goderich and in August 1946 she was married to -�.A. Cameron. The couple lived in Toronto before moving to Bayfield. ' In Bayfield,Mrs. Cameron was an active member of the Bridge Club, .the Bayfield Ever Young Club and the Clan Gregor Senior Citizens' Association. -'She will always be remembered —for h.er unselfish attitude and consideration to. any person or group in need or help, or advice. Mrs. Cameron gave freely of her time and resources to the community at -large. She was also a member of the Anglican Church. • Mrs. Cameron wags predeceased by her parents and husband and is survived by two daughters `Barbara McVean of Bayfield and Helen -Edith Elliott of Varna. She is also sur- vived by 12 grandchildren and three great grand- children. Mr.' Cameron rested at the Ball Funeral Horne in Clinton until December 18. when funeral services were held in Bayfield with Rev. Bennett in charge. Int•erment followed -4n the Bayfield Cemetery. ROURKE Mrs. Ada Marion Rourke of Colborne Township died on Christmas_ Day, December 25; 1979 at University. Hospital. ih London. She was 51. She was was in St. Thomas on April 2,1928 to,, parents George and Clara (Flashman) Curtis. She was 'married on October 71950 in Townline United Chur•ch,• .Yarniouth Township, .to George Murray Rourke Who survives. . • She lived all her life in the St. Thomas area until moving to • Colborne Township in March, 1973. She was a bookkeeper at the Goderich Medical centre. She was a charter member and Past Noble Grand of Glana Rebekah Lodge, Glanworth. She was pianist for 25 years at Townline United Church (St. Thomas ' suburban charge) and wasetel•ife member of the 1JCW of Townline United Church. She was an adherent of Nile United Church. Surviving are two sons, Robert, RR2 Zurich and ,A(ervin, Clinton; one daughter, Charlene Rourke at home; her mother, Mrs. George (Clara) Curtis; and one brother, Murray Curtis, RR6, St. Thoma§. She was a member of Goderich Rebekah Lodge $9 and of . St. -George's Anglican Ch•ur- ch,Goderich. Surviving are three sons, Lyle of Goderich and Druce and George of Calgary; 13- 'grand- children and seven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by one son, Donald, and by one brother, George Blake, Hanover. Funera-1 and committal service was Saturday, December 29 at the Stiles Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Crocker officiating. Interment was i -n Maitland Cemetery. Goderich Rebekah Lodge held a service at the funeral home Friday.
