Winter clothing represents a considerable investment and
should be stored with care.
Cleaning the clothes is the first step toward proper care.
Moth larvae are attracted to wool and other hair fibres but
also -to many food stains on any type of fabric.
Garmnents and accessories made of wool or a blend of wool
and other fibres should be stoned in cedar chests or closets.
If this is not passible, store woolens in sealed boxes or con-
tainers and add moth crystals for extra protection.
For convenience, plate the crystals in a math bag next to
the. clothing. Use about .5 kilograms (one pound.) of crystals
for every three cubic metres (100 cubic feet) of storage
space.
