Students tie one
on for Wild Tie Day
One student took a river plunge at
Brookside Public School during the cross-
country run. Although Robertson didn't win
any pennants, it was a fun day. We would
like to thank the students who participated
- in the run.
Say cheese! On Monday, Oct. 21, 1985 our
pictures were taken.
We would like to wticome the, minister's
who come to the grate 8 classes of -Robert-
son to speak.
Wow! Look at those ties. On Friday, Oct.
18th it was our Wild Tie Day! Reminder:
P.D. Day on Oct. 28.
They had the opportunity to view leaves
through a slide frame using a natural pro-
jector, the sun. They discovered that every
leaf is different. They learned why changes
occur in the forest in the Fall. They inven-
toried things that do not occur in a natural
setting. They used all of their senses to total-
ly experience the forest.
They learned to trust and depend upon one
another as they were led blindfolded along a
pathway.
