OUR HISTORY IN GODERICH TOWNSHIP
The Lavis name has been a part of the Town of Clinton business
scene since 1882.
In Goderich Township, we established our gravel business in
1941. In 1946, our crushing plant and bulldozer were added.
In 1957 we set up a Hot Mix Asphalt plant at our Holmesville pit
to replace the cold mix asphalt previously in use in Huron. Since
then, we've produced over 1.5 million tons of asphalt and paved
over 500 miles of road in Huron County.
With pleasure, we join in the salute for our Township's Ses-
quicentennial.
