gins is this home, owned by Dr. Daidd;a114 Sally. Walker and family.
This is the oldest ORIGINAL home in Goderich Township. Presently owned by Michael
and Kate Moriarty, the front portion is a 16' x 24' log cabin which was built in the 1830s by

Animposingbrick house built about 1860 of Italianate design, this home has been owned
by Stan and Marjorie Freeman for 23 years. (CMt/L7, Hwy. 8). It has 18 rooms and is white
3 -ply brick designed with 10 marble fireplaces - seven still there. It has only changed hands
four times - built by Alexander Hawley, it was then purchased by Curzons, transferred to
their nephew, Lithgow, purchased by Larder, and then Freemans.
This residence, owned and remodelled by Garth and Pat Postill, is well-known locally as
Tipperary School (SS No. 9, C10/L36), The brick building was constructed in 1937.
