To start the afternoon proceedings a "Spider" was held by Harry Williams and Paddy Chappell was the winner of the silver dollar, donated by Harry. Teams of players were organized and two games were played with seasoned bowlers and some who were bowling for the first time, joining in the fun. She reminded everyone of the giant garage sale and bake table scheduled for June 15 at 8:30 a.m. to take place at the club house on Picton Street. Tickets are now available on the lovely hand -made quilt which will be drawn on Oct. 31. Please be generous and buy a ticket from a member.
