Ham and 'turkey supper held
Bill and Marie Park were in Exeter ,for
Easter Sunday with Tom and Michelle Park.
Brad returned home with them' after
spending a few days. •
Gertrude Park returned home on Monday
following twe weeks spent in Wingham
hospital.
Kevin Cook had a few friends over on
Saturday to help him celebrate his 13th
birthday. •
Mr. and Mrs. Mike Harris, Christine and
Karen of Rexdale spent the long weekend
with John and porothy Harris. Maureen and
John DeBruyn; Elyse arid Kevin of Lucknow
visited on Friday at the Harris home.
Jack Smith is a patient in Goderich
hospital where he was taken Sunday by
Members of his family while they were
home for Easter. Gary and Barb Kilgour
and family of Kitchener, Larry and Elaine
Kilgour and family, of Petersburg as well as
the local family members were all present.

with Jack in hospital.
Lois and Ken Thomas and daughter,
Jennifer, spent Friday and Saturday with
Hazel Webster.
The Willing Workers held a sucessful ham
and turkey supper on Thursday. Winners of
the raffles were Charlene Elphick, a child's
quilt and George Smyth, hand crocheted
doilies.
Communion .was observed at the United
Church .on Easter Sunday. Joining the
Church by transfer were Mr. and Mrs. Don
Glousher, Mrs. Simon Logtenberg and Doris
Fielder. The entire Sunday School under the
leadership of Diane Park favored with
numbers accompanied on piano by Sherry
Smyth.
Frank Pentland, Roger Pentland, his
friend, Jean Liz Pearce of London, her. son,
Rick Pearce and Donna and Mike Carney,
Meagan and Drew spent Easter Sunday with
Pat and George Gibson and family at
Amberley.
On March 27 there were 14 tables of
schre at the Seniors Centre. High pink card
ore was Allister Nivins. A tie between
Belle Mole and Irene Markham saw Belle
win the low pink card score. High man was
Stanley Dennis and low, George Cardiff.
Frank Pentland donated the prizes of maple
syrup.
On April 3 there were 16 tables in play.
High lady was Margaret Young. Iw lady
was Janet Walden. High man wa§ Frank
Pentland and low, Lloyd Walters.
Vendors for' the Flea Market, May 18 at
the Seniors Centre are still welcome.

Mrs. Elmer Black hosted the annual
meeting of the Dungannon Women's
Institute, April 4 with a sumptuous pot luck
dinner. Daffodils and spring crocuses.
decorated the tables.
President Mrs. Cliff Crozier opened the
meeting with a poem Help Us to See and
Understand and welcomed 18 members and
four guests.
The roll call was the payment of fees with
two ; new members joining, bringing
membership to 26. Four members had
perfect attendance, Mrs. Graham McNee,
Mrs. Elmer Black, Mrs. George Errington
and Mrs. Clifford Penton.
Mrs. Black introduced guest speaker;
Mrs. Gary Sproul, who gave a full cover9te
of the current 4-H leaderships, changes,
history and presentation of books, awards
and courses. Joanne fielded many questions)
from former 4-1 leaders who are now
Institute members. She said the 4-H leaders
appreciate the Institute's sponsorship. Mrs.
Crozier thanked Joanne for sharing the
recent changes with 4-H Clubs.
The minutes of the last meeting were read
and correspondence dealt with. It was
decided to give a donation to Brookside
School towards new card tables.
Winnifred Girvin gave a report on the
District executive meeting held Monday,
April 1 at Wingham. It was attended by
Winnifred, Bessie McNee, Willetta
McWhinney, Alma - Black and Olive
Chisholm. .

financial report. Beth Rutledge gave the
auditors' report. The reports of standing
committees, Public Relations report and
Curators' reports were given.
Past President Winnifred Girvin conducted
the election of officers. Bessie McNee gave
the nominations report. The newly elected
officers were then installed by Winnifred
Girvin.
The 1985-86 officers and committees are as

president - Ila Crozier; 1st vice president,
Elmira Finnigan; 2nd vice president, Mary
Robson; secretary -treasurer, Alma Black;
assistant secretary -treasurer, Roberta
