Save -A -Child fire stickers are now
available free of charge and can be picked
up at the MacKay Centre on North Street
any time between Monday and Friday or
from Eleanor Larder (phone 524-9391).
The Save -A -Child program is being
sponsored by the Exemplar Chapter of the
Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. Stickers placed on
the bedroom windows of children, the
elderly or the handicapped, tell firemen
during an emergency that assistance is
probably needed by the occupants in these
areas of the house first.

DARYL JOHNSTON
Daryl Johnston, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Gordon Johnston of Goderich, received his
Honors Bachelor of Business
Administration with Co-op degree at the
recent Wilfrid Laurier University Con-
vocation.
Daryl has accepted a position with the
Toronto Dominion Bank and is presently
working in Burlington.

Laura Johnston of R.R. 4 Goderich
recently returned from a trip to Western
Canada. She was the winner of a "com-
plimentary weekend for two in any Four
Seasons Hotel in Western Canada" in a draw
held at Thomas Cook Travel Ltd. in
Goderich during an Open House in April.
Mrs. Johnston, who took her sister with
her on the trip, says she was allowed to have
one night in each of the Four Seasons Hotels
in Calgary and Vancouver and since the
prize also included return air fare, the
weekend was stretched into "a wonderful
week long vacation".
For Mrs. Johnston, the trip represented
her first airplane flight and the chance for a
reunion with a girlfriend at Chilliwack, B.C.
whom she had not seen since 1958.
"If I had not won this trip, the reunion
would not have been possible," enthuses
Mrs. Johnston in a letter of appreciation to
Thomas Cook Travel Ltd. "1 wanted you all
to know how much this complimentary trip
meant to me, the reunion with old friends
(my sister was also able to visit with friends
who have gone west) and the delightful
experience it made possible. I have a whole
album and heartful of memories for which,
once again, I would like to say thanks."
