The village crow had a sore leg the last
time we wrote about him. His leg has im-
proved and he has an area that he flies in,
never far from the Bellinger residence.
Sunday morning we observed another crow
with him, this is the first time we have seen
him with another bird.

unveiling of a cairn and plaque on the site
where the St. Andrew's United Church once
stood.

and Presbyterians, serving as a
Presbyterian Church until 1925, then as a
United church until closure in 1969.
The cairn and plaque were placed on the
site by the family of the late Henry Lednor

Mrs. Lednor's 100th birthday, December 11,
1983.

Body Builders
On October 5, Port Albert Body Builders
held their fifth meeting at the home of
leader, Donna Hayden. Guests were Helen
Vanden Heuvel and Wanda Keith,
representing Mary Kay cosmetics. They
supplied each member with a kit and taught
us how to apply skin care treatment. This
began by determining skin type as oily, dry,
or normal. Then we followed the steps by
cleansing, moisturizing, applying a' mask,
and finishing with make-up application. The
members enjoyed e
d this
activity..
Business for the meeting began with 4-H
pledge, minutes and roll call which was
answered by giving a money saving idea
using a skin care preduct or interviewing an
older person about the types of skin care
products used. The club discussed
"Grooming Aids and the Law" learning
such terms as cosmetic, drug and
hypoallergenic. The next meeting will be
October 12 at Wendy Miltenberg's.
