MANUFACTURING
RESOURCE PLANNING IN
THE 80's
Saturday, October 15 and 22, 1983
9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
at
Conestoga College, Central Administration
299 Doon Valley Drive, Kitchener, Ontario
Fee: $390 (includes coffee and meals)
In this two -full-day seminar, we will simulate a manufacturing
environment. Participants will spend approximately 60% of the
time actually using a fully integrated on-line manufacturing
computer system.
You will have the opportunity to forecast and schedule products,
add inventory, create bills of material, perform the material
planning functions, and add purchase and work orders, receive
purchase and work orders, and issue material, all occurring
on-line. Upon completion, you should have a very good
understanding of why integrated planning systems are a necessity
and not a luxury in meeting today's challenges and also how to use
this new technology through hands-on experience.
SEMINAR LEADERS: William Neeve, Uri Wittenberg,
Manufacturing Consultants
Registrations must be received no later than one week prior to the
seminar date. Mail your registration to the Continuing Education
Office nearest you.
Employers may qualify for a reduced fee of $202.00 under the
Provincial Government's Training in Business and Industry Plan.
