MANUFACTURING RESOURCE PLANNING IN THE 80's Saturday, October 15 and 22, 1983 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Conestoga College, Central Administration 299 Doon Valley Drive, Kitchener, Ontario Fee: $390 (includes coffee and meals) In this two -full-day seminar, we will simulate a manufacturing environment. Participants will spend approximately 60% of the time actually using a fully integrated on-line manufacturing computer system. You will have the opportunity to forecast and schedule products, add inventory, create bills of material, perform the material planning functions, and add purchase and work orders, receive purchase and work orders, and issue material, all occurring on-line. Upon completion, you should have a very good understanding of why integrated planning systems are a necessity and not a luxury in meeting today's challenges and also how to use this new technology through hands-on experience.
