Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Kingsbridge on June 25,
1983. The ceremony was conducted by Father Ed Dentinger.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Van
Diepen and the groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Bruce
Thomson. Donna Thomson, R. 1, Lucknow was maid of
honour and Bonnie Sinnett, R. 7, Lucknow, Johanna Van
Diepen, Clinton and Linda Sinnett, R. 7, Lucknow were
bridesmaids. Sara Christie, R. 7, Lucknow were bridesmaids.
Sarah Christie, R. 7, Lucknow was flower girl and Danny
Thomson, R. 1, Lucknow was ring bearer. David Elliott was
groomsman and Barry Elliott, R. 1, Lucknow, John Van
Diepen, R. 7, Lucknow and David Thomson, R. 1, Lucknow
ushered guests. The reception followed at Lucknow District
Community Centre. Following a honeymoon to Niagara Falls
and Canada's Wonderland the couple took up residence at 47
Diagonal Road, Wingham.

been on holidays for two
weeks to Saskatoon, Saskat-
chewan to visit with Kae's
two sisters, Helen Krowchuk
and her husband, Mike and
Verna McKay and their
families.
The weather there was hot
with a couple of showers.
Two tornadoes touched down
about 20 miles out of the city
with quite a lot of damage.
They had a lovely trip and
it was so nice to see them all.

Annual Farrish family
reunion held in Ashfield
The 22nd annual Farrish
family reunion was held at
Ashfield Township Park on
Sunday, August 7 when 40
descendants of Annie
Dickson and David Farrish
gathered under sunny skies.
Following a delicious
smorgasbord supper, a
minute's silence was ob-
served in memory of Lorne
Farrish and Lloyd Robb who
had passed away earlier in
the year.
During the short business
meeting which followed, it
was decided to hold next

lames M. Watt of Londesboro, son of Mr. and Mrs. Archie
Watt of R.R. I Blyth and Tammy E. Larsen, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. F. Larsen of Goderich, were married in
Londesboro by the Reverend Stan McDonald and the
Reverend Colin Swan on July 9. Maid of honor was Sharon
Moriarty of R.R. 2 Bayfield. Bridesmaids were Karen
Dechert of R.R. 2 Goderich and Barbara Conlon and
Heather K. Larsen, both of Goderich. Flowergirl was
Katherine A. Larsen Jr. of Goderich. Groomsman was
Warren Watt of Goderich and ushers were Tim Robinson
of Sudbury and Steve Lowe of Burlington. Following the
wedding ceremony, a reception was held at the White
Carnation in Holmesville. After a wedding trip to Toronto
and Niagara Falls, Mr. and Mrs. James M. Watt took up

Farrish was re-elected
president and Joanne
Buchanan was re-elected
secretary -treasurer. Wes

appointed to look after next

The youngest child present
at the reunion was Kiel
Farrish, son of Jim and
Nancy Farrish. The eldest
lady was Grace Farrish and
the eldest man was Lloyd
MacDougall. Guessing the
correct number of candies in
the jar was John Farrish.
Races for the children
were won as follows: girls
six and under—a tie between
Jolene Shelton and Christine
Farrish; boys six and under-
-Kiel Farrish; girls seven to
ten --Kim Farrish; boys
seven to ten—Chris Farrish;
girls 11-15--Marita
MacDougall; and boys 11 -15-
-David MacDougall. Peter
Shelton won the men's kick
the slipper event and
Darlene Shelton won the
ladies' kick the slipper.
