Family Crusade to be held in Auburn The Friendship Ministries Family Crusade will ,be held at Huron Chapel Missionary Church, Auburn beginning Friday, June 24. Friendship Ministries is a total ministry to local chur- ches with its headquarters in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Friendship is composed of 55 Christian college-age young people from 17 states and Canada. Each tour is coal; posed of 12 talented young people, who will inspire you with their gospel music, mini -dramas and puppets. These groups tour 10 months and travel more than 50,000 miles each year. They per- form in schools, colleges, military bases, youth and senior citizen homes, nurs- ing homes and churches. A unique part of their pro- gram features "The Little Friends," colorful puppets that are both inspirational and entertaining. The puppet people perform on Friend- ship Street, a Christian ver- sion of TV's successful Sesame Street. Friendship's music is call- ed "Message Music," built around old hymns and gospel songs. Friendship's smooth sound quality is achieved through arrangements pro- duced by Jerry Nelson, Ronn Huff, Don Wyrtzen, John Peterson, .Donn Marsh, Bob Krogstad and other leading, composers and arrangers in Christian music. They also will perform several drama sketches that will make you laugh, cry and take a good look at yourself. Friendship will be sharing their exciting public school assembly programs ns design- ed to challenge boys and girls, Kindergarten to Grade 3, with "Moral Values," and Grades 44 with a program about"Substance Abuse." There is no, admission to through a "love of - any of the programs, but you will be able to share in this ministry fering.' 4
