The ONHA sponsors Nurs-

This year they are again
adopting the theme -of Senior
Citizen's Week in Ontario:
'"We All Have a Lot to
Share"...During the week of
June 20-26 community nurs-

their doors and holding
special programs.
Many homes will be par-

In addition, nursing homes
provide an ideal centre for
the provision of ancillary
health services. Some nurs-

"Ideally, the nursing home
could become the focal point
for out-rcach programs and
include Home Care service

for the elderly and handicap-
ped," Mr. O'Donnell said.
Nursing home residents to-
day are encouraged to re-
main as active as possible
and retain a feeling of still
being part of the community.
