Hard work, devotion and pride are three of the main
factors that have made Clinton a great place to live.
Their success can be seen in this sketch of the new
Clinton Town Hall.
Clintons grand old lady, the 103 -year-old town hall, is
presently undergoing complete renovation and
restoration. The work will revive the original beauty
and importance of the main town centre.
Also included in the project is additional restoration of
the magnificent Clinton Library. Opened in February
1900, the library has always been a thriving community
gathering spot.
Since it's founding in 1831, Clinton has maintained a
positive community spirit. Town officials and the

public have worked aide -by -side to help give Clinton its
name "The Hub of Huron County'
The town has always been a welcome home for Dutch
families. In fact Clinton was first settled by two Dutch
brothers more than a century ago.
Today Dutch -Canadians still express the
determination, hard working spirit and goodwill that
their pioneering ancestors brought to this area.
Since Clinton's earliest beginnings, the Dutch people
have played an important part in the town's history.
Clinton council thanks all the people who have
contributed to the area, it's helped to make Clinton the
best place to live.
