question is easily answered.
Theprogram is aimed at ,
helping farmers to get jobs
done that they couldn't get
done themselves or
something they cannot find
tittle to do over a busy sum-
mer season.
These crews are able to
paint, bale hay, pick stones
or any othergeneral work on
the farm. The,crews consist'
of one foreperson and three
crew members with each of
them having some farm ex-
perience. The crews are
available to farmers and
agricultural societies from
June 27 to August 19, for a
fee of $90 per eight hour
working day.,
For answers to any ques-
tions you may have about
Agricrew or if you are in-
terested in hiring a crew in
Huron county, contact Steve
Horn, Agricrew Co-
ordinator, at the Huron
County Ministry of
Agriculture and Food office
or phone 482-3428.. (For long
distance call Zenith 7-3040).
Want funding
Statement by Jack Rid-
dell, MPP ' , tHuron-
Middlesex):
"In response to Liberal
Party pressure .and
questionsin the Legislature
regarding Tile Drainage
Loans, we welcome the
announcement of the
Minister of Agriculture and
Food, to reduce interest
rates on these loans from ten
per cent to eight per cent for
the coming year.
"We are still concerned,
however, that the maximum
loan assistance is to be
continued at 60 per cent of
the cost of eligible in-
stallations. We; in the
OntariO Liberal Party, have
repeatedly pointed out tothe
govertitneot- thaf this level
should be increased to 75 per
cent of the cost of the
drainage work.
"Moreover, we believe
that the government's in-
vestment, under this
program, is still abut 40 per
cent less than the demand
and we hope that in the
upcoming budget statement
funding for this program will
be increased to $50 million
Per Year.
"It is well recognized that
tile drainage is essential to
the- improvement of
Ontario's foodland and we
will continue to pressure the
government for increased
assistance in this area."

Consumer and Commercial
Relations, Dr. Robert Elgie,
the Minister responsible for
the Ontario Securities Com-
mission, has stated that he's
concerned about
establishing a precedent in
Ontario in which details of a
government investigation
are made public despite the
fact that the final decision is
against laying any charges.
Ontario Hydro
The petrochemical
manufacturing consortium,
Petrosat Ltd., is suing On-
tario Hydro for $105 million
for breach of a 15 year con-
tract to supply the utility
with massive quantities of
heavy oil.
Petrosar,
in which the
federal government is a
minority shareholder
through Canada Develop-
ment Corporation, alleges
that Hydro twice - once in
1981 and again in 1982 - broke
a 1976 agreement to buy 7.3
million barrel§ a year of
residual oil for two new
power stations. One of the
two plants was cancelled
during construction and the
other was mothballed last
summer.
Property
Rights
Herb Epp (Liberal
Waterloo North) has twice
tabled a Resolution to in-
clude Property Rights in
Canada's Charter of Rights
in the belief that, "If a per-
son's home is violated, then
he or she is, in a very real
sense, violated as a person."
He has lobbied Ottawa and
Queen's Park on this ques-
tion. Now Premier Davis has
indicated that his govern-
ment will introduce a
Resolution authorizing such
an amendment to the legisla-
tion.
