"a good green lawn".
Grass has a wonderful,
recovery and if trampled on,
will soon come back to its

lawn grass seeds on the

best.
Do not become a slave to

the spring with a high
nitrogen content, the most
common being 10.6.4 and a
second application in late
summer with a low nitrogen
content. When you water the
lawn, give -it a good soaking..
Mr. Martin recommended an
oscillating sprinkler.
If broad leaf weeds are a
problem, spot kill with a
good weedkiller but be sure
to read the directions; on the
can. It isn't true that if a
little is good, a lot is better.
Mr. Martin does not
recommend rolling your
lawn, especially if you have
heavy soil.

Mr. Martin was thanked
by Annette Stemp for a most
