position in the physiotherapy department

another aid has been hired, the demands •
just keep growing and eannot be kept up
with.
A. lengthy discussion regarding this
problem . took 'place at a hospital board
meeting Monday night but nothing was
resolved.
Local hospital board members are
concerned about the increase in rent for
the MentalHeafth Centre in Clinton. he
Centre is located in the former Clinton
nurses' residence across from the
hospital and is owned by the hospital.
Starting •April 1, the hospital will in-
crease the rent from, $600 to $850 per
month.
With the growing demand for space for
such services as speech pathology and
palliative care at AM&G, the hospital
board is considering relocating the
ambulance office to a new area at the

The proposal to .change one part-time

board.
The new recovery room at AM&G: is
now in use. The room, which holds three
stretcher beds, is a considerable bit
provement over the previous two -bed
room across the corridor.
AM&G hospital administrator Eimer
Taylor is presently assisting the Bruce
Peninsula and District Memorial
Hospital in Wiarton with their current
management and financial problems.
The time committment of- two days per
week to be spent in Wiarton for ap-
proximately ten weeks has been ap-
proved by the Goderich hospital board
with Mr. Taylor's expenses to be paid by
Bruce Peninsula and District Memorial
Hospital.

Under education, a motion
was passed that at the high
school commencement in the
fall, four awards in the form
of books will be presented,
one geography and one
history to Grade 9 and the
same for Grade 10 level.
