A funeral service was held
at St. George's Anglican
Church on Monday,
February 21 at 2 p.m. The
Reverend Robert J. Crocker
of St. George's Church of-
ficiated.
Interment was in the
Maitland Cemetery,
Goderich.
Honorary pallbearers
were Harry Scott, Ian Scott,
Geoffrey Scott, Andrew Scott
and Bruce Sully.
Active pallbearers were

Cayley Hill, Humphrey

John Elwood Hohnes, 85,
of 840 Trillium Park, Sarnia
died at St. Joseph's Hospital
on Tuesday, February 15.
Born in Goderich, the late
Mr. Holmes had ,resided in
Toronto most of his life
previous to moving to Sarnia
some four years ago.
He was a veteran em-
ployee with the Bank of
Commerce, serving as
manager of Bank Premises
before his retirement. Ile
had served in various cities
including New York and.
Toronto and latterly retiring
to Goderich.
He was a member of the
Sarnia Golf and Curling
Club, a member of the Point
Edward POPIT
Crab and a 1 lember of n

was also a vegan 91 World
War I, having sealed with -

He is survived by his wife,

London died Saturday,
January 12 in University.
Hospital, London at the age
of 72.
He was born near Rock-
wood, Ontario and lived for
many years in Goderich
before moving to London in
1971.

of Knox Presbyterian
Church, Goderich andwas a
member of the Thames
Valley Kiwanis Club of
London.
He is survived by his wife,
