recently winning two of three
games and tying the other.
In the first game, Goderich
Scotiabank spotted
Wingham a one -goal lead
and then roared back with
three straight goals to win 3-
1. Mark Cauchi " led the
Goderich offence with two
goals in the game. He scored
in the final minute of the first
period to tie the game and
scored the .winning goal
midway throughthe second
period. John Stokes assisted
on both goals.,
Ron Todgham put the
game away for Goderich
scoring the third goal in the
third period. with Steve
Johnston and Ron Chapman
assisting.
In the second game,
Goderich Garb and Gear
edged Wingham 2-0. The
teams played through a
scoreless first period but
Shawn Larder scored the
first and winning goal of the
game in the second , period
with Tom Bean assisting.
Mike Creamer scored an
insurance goal in the third
period for G.oderich.......

Goderich. Scotiabank scored
two . third period goals to
earn a 3-3 tie with the Kit
chener Vikings.
Goderich took a one -goal
lead in the first period on

goal lead in the second
period scoring two goals in
the span of a.minute midway
through the period. -
Goderich pulled within one
goal in the third period as
Tom Bean scored on an
unassisted . effort and they
earned the tie on Todgham's
goal with six minutes
remaining in the game.
Broomball
action
On Tuesday night,
February 1 the Belgrave
ladies sneaked past the
Lucknow ladies, 1-0 with
Wendy Oster getting the
game winner.
In men's play the Blyth
Bears dumped the Clinton
Warriors 4-0 with Steve Cook
netting two goals. Also in'
men's play, the 8th Liners
dropped Maitland, 5-0 with
David Soach and Irvin Pease
each getting two goals while
the Atlas Rams and the
Auburn Falcons battled it
out to a 1-1 draw.
On Thursday night, Blyth
Baitoneers' Lori Hessefwood
got the only goal in a game
against the Auburn ladies.
The final score of the game
was 1-0. The Grabel Runners
held off a strong Brussels
attack and ended up tying
them, 0-0.
The Blyth Bears came 'out
on top, 2-1 against the
League Team while the
Lakelet Hornets carne back
from a 3-0 score to tie the
Laneville Lords, 3-3. Doug
Kreller was responsible for
scoring the Hornets' three
goals.
Also in men's play, the
Goderich Oarsmen blew
away the Clinton Warriors,
5-1 with Brian Allen getting
three points in the game.
The winners of the Blyth
Broomball tournament
which took place on
February 3-6 were; in the
Men's A Division, the Lucky
Devils from theTeeswater.
League; in the Men's 'S
Division, the Maryhill
Brewers from the Elora
League; , and in the Ladle's
Division, the 'Green Machin
tools first place.
