Visitors on Sunday with Bessie and Graham McNee were Joy_pnd Ken Vodden of Londesboro. Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Mc- Winney spent the weekend in Meaford with their son, Jim, his wife, Jan and baby daughter, to help them move into their new home. John Bere and son, David of London- visited with Mrs. Mary Bere on Sunday, Karen Hernandez, who had spent a few days with her grand- mother and other relatives, returned to London . with John and David. Mike and Wendy Hughes and daughter, Michelle of Bolton, visited on the week- end with her grandmother, Hazel Webster. Get well wishes go out to those in our community who are hospitalized, Roger Pent- land, who is a patient in University Hospital, London; K. K. Dawson, who is a patient on the fifth floor (surgery) at St. Joseph's Hospital, London. Evelyn underwent a by pass opera- tion on Tuesday, January 18 and was resting comfortably and recovering when she suffered a heart attack three days later. Her many friends here wish her well. Outgoing chairman Anne Turbitt, who has headed the division for two years, ex- pressed regret that a new ch'airinan could not be found. However, she said, after two year's of hard work to put on several promotions a year for everyone's benefit she just doesn't have the time to continue to devote to . the division.
