In memory of a dear friend,
Glenn Anderson, who passed
away two years ago, January
18, 1981.
Two sad and lonely years have
passed,
Since that great sorrow fell,
The shock we felt that day,
No one con ever tell.
Your end come sudden,
No time to say goodbye,
You were gone before we knew
it,
And only God knows why.
You left us beautiful memories,
Often silent tears,
Alwdys you'll be with us,
Now, and through the years.

ANDERSON
In loving memory of a dear son,
brother, uncle and grandson,
Glenn Anderson, who was
tragically killed January 18,
1981.
To a beautiful life came a sud-
den end, he died as he lived
everyone's friend,
He was always thoughtful, lov-
ing and kind, what a glorious
memory to leave behind.
We cannot forget your smiling
face, your happy carefree ways,
The smile that won so many
friends, in happy bygone days.
No one knows the silent hear-
tache, only those who have lov-
ed can tell,
The grief we bear in silence, for
the one we loved so well.
We do not need a special day,
to bring you to our minds,
The days we do not think of you,
are very hard to find.
They say time heals all sorrow
and helps us to forget,
But time so far has only proved
how much we miss you yet.

ed by Mom, Dad, brothers,
sisters, nephews, nieces and
Grandma Park. -2x

The effects of having a
physical disability can be
almost as devastating for the
family as for the disabled in-
dividual.
"We just take one day at a
time;" said the McCafferys
of Stratford.
Michael McCaffery was
born.with cerebral patsy. At
age 31, he is severely disabl-
ed and relies a great .deal on
the personal care provided
by his parents.
His father retired five
years ago. He and his wife
depend on pensions which,
especially during these
economic times, do not seem
to go as far as they used to.
The Ontario March of
Dimes recently helped to
supply a back brace insert,
providing support for
Michael in his wheelchair,
and a portable commode
chair. "I don't like to ask for
help," said Mr. McCaffery
recently, "but my wife and I
realized that we needed
assistance with Michael."

washroom means walking

" FISHER..
In loving memory of a dear
mother and grandmother,
Luella Fisher, who passed away
December 30, 1980.
We seem tb see in the soft dim
light
A face we love the best;
Recalling her as^the sun's lost
rays
Go down in the far off west.
We'miss her more as time goes
on,
We can never close our hearts;
And the lamp of our love still
burns.
Her heart the truest in all the
world,
Her love the best to recall;
None on earth could take her
place,
She is still the dearest of all.
-Ever remembered by her

no longer ligt Michael over
long distances.
Items such as a
wheelchair and back rest
were supplied to Michael un-
til he was 20 years old by the
Rotary Club in Stratford.
When a social worker
reviewed his case last fall,
she referred the McCafferys
to the March of Dimes office
in the Kitchener/Waterloo
area.
"The commode chair is
really something," said Mrs.
McCaffery. "It's sukch a
simple item but, now, we
don't have to lift Michael as
much. We both really ap-
preciate it.",
And the new back rest for
Michael's wheelchair gives
him that extra support he
needs as he gets older.
Providing items such as
commode chairs. and back
rests for peotile in
wheelchairs is only one of
the many services available
to physically disabled adults
through the Ontario March
of Dimes.
The organization also con-
tinues to work towards over-
coming barriers through
public awareness programs,
assists groups of disabled
residents with issues such as
housing, transportation,
human rights and recrea-
tion, provides job training
and employment oppor-
tunities and operates three
summer camps for disabled
adults.
These programs are made
possible through the
generosity of public dona-
tions to the Ability Fund
campaign, held annually, in
January and February.
