"Side Priviog Week" irs
observed annually in Canada
from. Degember 1 to 7. The
thenne. adopted for the 1982
campaign is "Buckle Up For
Safety".
The Canada Safety Council
;awes alt motorists and
„passengers to use safety
restraints not only because it
is the law m someprovinces,
but for personal survival and
the good of all society.
In real terms, wearing
seat belts. not only saves
lives and reduces the severi-
ty of injuries, it saves
money. Much of the cost of
traffic related deaths and
juries is borne by the tax-
payer. Costs, such as am-
bulances, medical and
hospital, police investiga-
tion, rehabilitation, financial
aid for families of those kill-
ed or incapacitated, arid.
ever-increasing insurance
costs.
Old arguments about the
"right" of individual
freedom of choi6e to wear or
not wear safety restraints
must now .be superseded by
public concern for the in-
creased burden on the
economy.

HURON CYCLE IN GODERICH IS KEEPING SNOWMOBILING AFFORDABLE
HERE'S YAMAHA'S. BEST SELLING SNOWMOBILE -BRAVO 250
1982 was the year -we introduced the Bravo
250. 1t immediately became the best-selling
snowmobile in the history of Yamaha. The
reasons are. obvious. At 132 kilograms (291
lbs.) it's the lightest snowmobile on the
market. It delivers excellent gas mileage.
And its low centre of gravity makes it ex-
tremely easy to handle. In fact, the only
thing easier to handle may be the price.
Because the Bravo 250 is one of the lowest
priced snowmobiles in Canada-
