master of cer s Hies for the
first part of the program.
Mr. Flynn introduced the
members of the "Huron
Strings", namely violinists
Stanley Hillen, Wilson
McCartney, and Warren
Whitmore and Lorne Lawson
playing the harmonica. The
audience enjoyed several
numbers of toe -tapping
music by this group, ac-
companied by Mrs. Marie
Flynn, pianist.
A .demonstration of lively
and graceful, step -dancing
was given by several young
performers. These artists
are named in order of their
appearance on the stage:
Sheri Oesch and Kim Dixon:
the Circle City Cuties of
Goderich. Crystal Brennan,
Crystal Withers, and Sherry.
Good; Polished Ebony -

dancers were on the stage
for the Bird ,Dance and the

always impressive and an
educational film "Up in
Smoke" described the work
of the forest rangers in B.C.
and the various techniques
used in fighting forest fires.

Kalbfleisch thanked Russel
and Margaret Alton for
arranging the enjoyable
program.
Members were asked to
pick up their November

expressed appreciation to
Marion Biggin and Wyn Bell
for their work in writing the
