It causes me to ponder, in
my maturing, as well as wat-
chingmy children develop,
howimportant it Is to care
about the •detalls, the
finishing touches of the pro-
duct. Sometimes in the busy
routines of our living, we are
careless about what goes on
inside. We are content with
building and maintaining the
structural appearances, and
inside we are incomplete..
Surely this completeness
comes with our nurture of
the spirit, as well as the
body. This takes time and
this takes effort. Our maturi-
ty in faith does not come with
ourgraduation from the
community of faith at any
given point of our choosing.
It comes only at that point
when we realize that it can,,
never be truly complete, un-
til .we find our final rest in
GOD.
In the pursuit cf t'.. -Ls rest in
God, in the commitment to
' the worship of God and the
fellowship of faith, in the
care of the inner workings of
our spirits, we not only
discover who God is, but who
We are. And our pilgrimage
of faith becomes a journey of
joy.
