The brick work for the first
storey and part of the second
for the Wheel Rigs factory is
so well advanced that a few
weeks will finish that part of
the work.
The brick additions to the
Kensington -Furniture
Company's buildings are
now ready for use and the
latest machinery for fur.
niture work will soon be
fixed.
The steamer Greyhound
made a moonlight trip on the
lake Friday evening, taking
out 500 passengers.
Blackstone's Orchestra
furnished the musical
program for the trip.
Mr. William Nivins, the
shoemaker, is now working
at G.M. Elliott's boot and
shoe store.
Reid and Company have a
gang of men building the
addition to the Registry
Office.
It will be of interest to the
Bell Telephone Company's
subscribers at Goderich to
learn that they are now able
to communicate with
Dungannon, Port Albert and
Kintail over the long
distance lines of the com-
pany, having recently been
completed to these points.

The feeling of anxious
uncertainty with regard to
the fate of two at least of the
Goderich boys who fought at
Dieppe was lifted last Friday
by the receipt of official

attended Sunday night
service in their new facilities
on the 14th anniversary of
the formation of the church
in Goderich. The new church
addition was completed at
the end of July at a cost of
8120,000.
