restoring the old Van
Egmond House. There is
never enough money to do
this restoration. This is the
eighth year of recorded
struggle to raise funds to
complete the restoration.
But they are doing it the
FUN way. They have a
terrific program starting
early Saturday morning
Sept. 25 with breakfast,
music and dancing and
touring the fine old, old
Victorian Opera House.

fashioned carnival will keep

The .bride wore a full-
length gown of white
georgette over taffeta styled
with a square yoke of
chantilly lace. The wedding
band collar and cathedral
train were edged with lace.
The bride also wore an
imported French hat turned
up at one side to a satin bow.
She carried the Bible her
mother carried on her
wedding day adorned with
• coral orchids and rose buds.
Maid of honor was Janet
Farrish of London, sister of
the bride. She wore a coral
full-length dress of crepe
satin, brought in at the waist
with a cummerbund:

of the , bodice were
highlighted with a bow at the
neckline. She carried long
stemmed pale coral roses.
Bridesmaids were Mary
Ellen Elston of Wingham
and Susan Elston of R.R. 4

of the birde. Their dresses
and flowers were the same
as the maid of honor's.
Carolyn and Jeannine
Elston of Wingham, nieces of
the groom, were the
flowergirls. They wore white
swiss dot pinafores over
dresses similarto that of the
bridesmaids'.- They carried
baskets of pale coral roses
with brown daisies and wore
flowers of the same colors in
their hair.
