The Goderich Signal-Star, 1982-09-15, Page 20Four teams still in, hunt for championship Four teams are still in the hunt -for the Goderich Women's Slopitch League charnplonahllx Sifto, Biuewater, Goderich Insulation and Champion have all advanced to semi- final whkh began this week. On Monday evening, Sifto and Goderich Insulation began their best -of -three series on the St. Marys diamond while Bluewater played Champion at Victoria Public School. - The second game of the best -of -three series was scheduled for Wednesday with Sifto and Gollarich Insulation playing at Victoria and Bluewater and Champion playing at Biuewater Centre. All games begin at 6.15 p.m. If a third and final game is needed in either series, it will be played Thursday, September 16 with Sifto and Goderich Insulation playing at St. Marys and Biuewater and Champion playing at Victoria North. .. The league championship will also be a best -of -three affair beginning Monday, September 20 at St. Marys at 6.15 p.m. The second game of the final series will be played Wednesday, September 22 and a third game, if necessary, will be on Thursday, September 23. Players are reminded that an executive and team rep meeting will be held hf the meeting room at the recreation office Wednesday, September 15 at 8.30 p,m.
