, Arnold John Allin of
Maitland Manor Nursing
Home, Goderich died in
Alexandra Marine and
General Hospital on Mon-
day, September 13 at the age
of 71.
He was born m Colborne
-•Tomineltipn June 24, 1911 to

(Morrish) Allin. He attended
school in Colborne Township
and later worked as a
superintendent fcir the
Ontario Department of High-
ways.
He was a member, of
Victoria Street United
Chw"ch, Goderich.
He was predeceased by
one sister, Mrs. Lawrence
( Margaret) Snyder and four
brothers, Clive, Cliff, Reg
and Glen.
He is survived by four
nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held
at Stiles Funeral Home,
Goderich on Wednesday,
September 15, at 2 p.m. The
Reverend Robert 0. Ball
officiated.
Interment was in Colborne
Cemetery, Colborne,
Township.
Pallbearers were William
Treble, Ray Johnston,
Clarence Hardy, Harry
Westlake, Clarence Allin and
Toynbee Lamb.
Flowerbearers •were
George Vanderburgh and
Chester Feagan.

Miss Luella Marie Wagner
of King Street, Auburn died
at her residence on Satur-
day, September 11 at the age
of 85.
She was born in Lon-
desboro on November 10,
1896 to Jacob and Anna
(Yungblut) Wagner. She
attended GDCI and Stratford
'Hospital-Nursing-School:She
worked as a nurse and lived
in Auburn most of her life.
She was a member of Knox
Presbyterian. Church,
Goderich.
She is survived by four
sisters, Mrs. Andrew (Rose)
Herman of Tavistock,
Wilhelmina (Minnie) of
Huronview, Mrs. Wilfred
( Bertha ) Sanderson of
Goderich amd Mrs. Fred
(Doris) Yungblut of
Woodstock;" and one brother,

report
break-in
Goderich police report one
break-in list week at a house
on •Elgin Avenue. A small
amount of food was stolen
along with $86.
There were also two motor
vehicle thefts; six other
thefts; and two incidents of
mischief and wilful damage
during the week.
On Friday a large tran-
sport truck rounding the
corner at Bayfield and
Britannia Roads snapped off
a PUC pole worth $1,000.
Police also investigated two
minor motor vehicle ac-
cidents,
They made two arrests,
issued 11 warnings. and laid
two crirnin,91 charges, two
liquor charges and 19 High-
way Traffic Act charges.

DAVISON
Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth
Davison of Blyth died
Tuesday, September 7 in
Alexandra Marine and
General Hospital, Goderich
at the age of 79.
She was born in Colborne
Township on March 2, 1903 to
William and Louise
(Osmond) Walter. She lived
in Colborne Township and
Detroit until moving to Blyth
three years ago.
She is survived by her
husband, Fred Davison and
one brother, Lloyd Walter of
Colborne Township.
She was predeceased by
three sisters, Sophia, Mrs.
Arthur (Lucinda) Spragge
and Mrs. William' -(May)
Good; and three brOthers,
Albert, Harry and Osmond
Walter.
A funeral service was held
at McCallum Funeral Home,
Goderich• on Thursday,
September 9 at 2 p.m. The
officiated.
Interment was in Colborne
Cemetery, Colborne
Township.
Pallbearers were Bill
Young, Bill Phillips, Bill
Walter, Tom Marlett,
Leonard Good and Elwyn
Good.
Flower bearers were
Donald Good, Ernie Good,
Bob Phillips and Keith
Camplin.
DR. JOHN E. JACKSON
Dr. John E. Jackson of
Woodstock and formerly of
the Embro area, died in
Woodstock Friday, Sep-
tember 10. He was 90.
Dr. Jackson was raised
and schooled in•the Auburn
area and was a 1925 graduate
of the University of Toronto
School of Medicine. He
practiced in Alberta from
1925 to 1934 and then
returned to Embro unti11952.
In 1952 he joined the
Ontario government staff
and served in Woodstock.and
Orillia for 15 years before
retiring to Woodstock.

August 27. He was in his 87th
