Friday, September 3 at the
age of 79.
He was born in Bayfield on
October 20, 1902 to Wffliaii
• and .M aria (Walmsley)
Elliott
The late Mr.•Elliott- was a
rural mail carrier for the
Bayfield Post Office and
delivered mail in the
Bayfield and ',southern
Goderich Township area for
60 years.
He was also a 35 year
member of , the Bayfield
Lions Club; a member of
Trinity 'Anglican Church in
Bayfield; and served on the
Bayfield Volunteer Fire
Department for a number of
years.

was held at Trinity Anglican
Church, Bayfield on Sunday,
September 5 at 3 p.m. The
Reverend Gordon Reynolds
officiated.
Interment was in the
Bayfield Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Ernest
Hovey, Fred LeBeau,
Donald Lindsay, Charles
Scotchmer and Barry
Scrimgeour, all of Bayfield
and Irvine Pease of London.
Flower bearers were Chris,
Benjamin of Mt. Clemens,
Michigan, Grant Stirling of

Lindsay of R.R. 2 Bayfield

Jean Rebecca (Campbell)
Taylor of 331 Matilda Street,
Clinton died in Clinton Public
Hospital on Friday, Sep-
tember 3 at the age of 69„
She was born in Stanley
Township on June 27, 1913 to
Thomas and Mary (Johnson)
Campbell.
She attended S.S. no. 10
Stanley and Clinton
Collegiate Institute:
She married Victor Earl
Taylor in Stanley Township
on May 28, 1932 where they
took up residence until
moving to Clinton in 1960.
The late Mrs. Taylor was a
housewife and Avon
representative. She belonged
to Brucefield United Church
and Ontario Street United
Church in Clinton and was a
member of the UCW of both
of these churches.
She is survived by her
husband; three daughters,
Mrs. Charles. (Leola)
Proctor of London, Mrs.
William (Elaine) Worsell of
Goderich and Mrs. Douglas
(Irene) Cantelon of Clinton;
two sons; Morley of
Camlachie and Arnold of
Brucefield; and 15 grand-
children.
A funeral service was held
at Ball and FalconeeFuneral
Home, Clinton on Monday,
September 6 at 3:30 p.m. The
Reverend Norman Pick and
the .Reverend Stan
McDonald officiated.
Interment was in Bahr&
Cemetery, Stanley Town-
ship.

GEDDES, JR.
Ronald Glen Geddes; Jr. of
R.R. 6 Goderich (Colborne
Township) died Sunday,
August 29 in Goderich at the
age of 22.
He was born in Owen
Sound on May 9, 1960 to
Ronald Glen and Delila
(Needham) Geddes, Sr. The
family lived in Kincardine
until moving to the Goderich
area in 1961.
The late Mr. Geddes at-
tended schools in Goderich
and Holmesville. He worked
as a barn painter and sailor
and was an adherent of
Victoria Street United
Church, Goderich.
He is survived by his
parents, Ronald and Delila
Geddes; his grandparents,

Edward (Ed) Evert of
Maitland Manor Nurshig
Home, Goderich died at his
residence On Tuesday,
August 31 at the age of 77.
He was born in Drato,
Poland on July 12, 1905 to
Andrew and Olga (Yanke)
Evert.
He lived in Yorkton,
Saskatchewan and then in
Goderich and worked as a
labourer at the mine.
He was an adherent of
Bethel Pentecostal
Assembly.
He is survived by one
sister, Mrs. George (Erna)
Muck of Gciderich; and two
brothers, Ralph Evert of
Yorkton, Saskatchewan and
Ben Evert of Vancouver.
A funeral service and
committal were held at
Stiles Funeral Home,
Goderich on Thursday,

Frances; three grand-

grandchildren.
