With a great deal of fanfare, the program opened Saturday at 1 p.m. with a horse shoe contest with 73 contestants. The winners .in the men's division were Bili Taylor from Port Albert and his grandson. David Joly, 18, from Lansing, Michigan. The mixed tournament was won by Chris and Robert Evans from London'. The game was played in Winthrop. Saturday the Pirates edged A.B. Realty from Stratford 8 - 2. On Sun- day at noon, the Pirates were the worthy winners over Winthrop 3.- 0.
