team -placing first with 272 points. St. Marys was second with 249 points; Kirkton was third
with 190 points; Exeter was third with 162 points; and New hamburg was last with 161
points. This was the Goderich team's fourth swim meet of the season. They placed first in
the Exeter meet, second in the New Hamburg meet and third in the Harriston meet. This
Saturday they will compete in the semi-finals in Kincardine. Karyn Drennan, swim meet

Men's night on Monday,
July 26 was sunny and warm
as 49 players turned out. The
big winner was Dave Cornish
with a • par " round.

great opportunity to get to
know others ill the club. New
members are coming out
each night. John and Verna

new16th green at Sunset.

The.. Southwestern Ontario
Youth Talent Search is the
second annual such contest
sponsored by the Western
Fair and TV London for
youngsters age 10 to 21. Solo'
performers or groups of , up
to four members are eligi-
ble.

TV London's Stage•10 during
the fair and the final contest
will take place at the
Western Fair grandstand on
Sunday, September 19.

The two -minute pacing colt WILCO TIME is an eligible starter in Thursday night's ( August
5) Ontario Sires Stakes racing highlight at Goderich Raceway. The thre 'year-old son of
Springfield bred and owned by Wilson Farms of Granton and trained and driven by noted
horseman Dave Wall of Komoka, has earned more than $70,000 in purses this season. He has
not finished worse than third in 16 start's. -The Sires Stakes, the first of two scheduled at the

The Schoolboy and Junior National Motocross Championship was held over the weekend at
