was held Sunday, August 1 at
8 p.m. The cemetery, as
usual, looked well -kept with
mowed grass , and many
floral tributes at the graves.
Reeve Bill Bogie ,opened
the service by welcoming all

The Reverend Robert
Bisset read the scripture
from liebrews;---Chapter 11 -
and 12 and in his very in-
teresting and comforting

the service.
After the service, many
paused to renew acquain-
tances and to quietly
remember. There was a
splendid attendance with
people from Colborne
Township, Goderich, Clinton
and surrounding district and
several from a further
distance.

wife in Calgary and also with
their son Andy in Calgary.

(Jean) Clark whose funeral
was Saturday, July 31. She
was well-known and will be
missed by many. She was
very active in the Women's
Institute and the Historical
Society, for many years. It
was in April of 1948 that
Tiger Dunlop Women's
Institute was founded due to
the untiring efforts of Mrs.
Clark who became its first
president.
