She welcomed all and the minutes of the previous meeting were read by the secretary Mrs. Thomas Hag- gitt. The financial statement was given by, the treasurer Mrs. Ross Robinson. She reported also that she had received the O.H.A.. grant and at present there were 51 Members. Mrs. 'Haggitt read a letter from M. Maisie Bray tell- ing about the Fantasy Fair at -Lion's Head on. July 23, 24 and 25th. She reported that ' over 750 had attended the O.H.A. convention in Guelph in June. If anyone wishes to attend the workshop on showing flowers please contact the secretary Mrs. Haggitt. The woeop will be held at Geo r an' College, Owen Soltn on August lith. A new home is sought for Santa and his cutter. They have been stored in the back of the town hall and because of alterations for the new library room and washroom, there is no room to store.; This will be discussed at the open meeting to be held on July 21st at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Ball at 6:30 p.rn. It_will start as a tour with Mr.'Ball as tour guide of his- grounds and down towards the,Maitland River in the woods. Everyone is re- quested to. bring their lawn chairs and there will be a short meeting • following the tour of his grounds.
