The bride .is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Blok of R.R. 2 Auburn and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. 'Douglas Sowerby of Goderich. The Reverend Robert O. Ball officiated at the double ring ceremony. Music was provided by organist Robert Blackwell. The bride wag **ushered down the aisle by the groom. She wore a full length white gown with polyester satin lace down the front, long lace sleeves and lace trim on the neck and sleeves. The gown also featured a gathered ruffle at the bottom and an attached train. Wingham, sister of the bride. She wore a blue polyester sheer knit dress with a full swirling skirt, spaghetti ties at the shoulders and a matching lace trimmed jacket. She also wore a wide brimmed bridal hat and carried a nosegay of blue roses, white shasta daisies, and green fern. Bridesmaids were Treasa Korstanje of Bramalea and Jeannette Blok of R.R. 2 Auburn, both Sisters of the bride. V'�L�W� � A Ryan of Goderich and guests were ushered into the church by Tim Gregg and Kent Feagan, both of R.R. 2 Goderich. Following the wedding ceremony, a• reception was held at Saltford Valles Hall. The bride's mother greeted guests wearing a rose colored polyester sheer print street -length dress with flowing knife pleats and a corsage of white carnations. The . groom's mother assisted wearing a blue linen two piece dress with a Couple corsage of pink carnations. For a wedding trip to Niagara Falls, the bride changed to a black and white figured dress with white jacket. .Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Auburn. ...-.. Prior to her wedding, the bride was feted at a shower for the groom's aunts given by Mrs. Noella Triebner and Mrs. Dawn Sowerby at Mrs. Triebner's home in Exeter; at a shower given by Cheryl Brintnell,'aunt of thegroom and Lori Feagan, cousin of the groom, at their home; and at a shower given by Reoly Verburg, cousin of the bride, at her home. The bride is the daughter of Don and Ruth Goddard of Goderich and the groom is the son of Gaston and Isabella Bernard of R.R. 5 Clinton. The Reverend G L. The bride was given in marriage by her parents. She wore a white sheer chiffon dress with French lace and pearls. It featured an empire waistline, sweetheart neckline and chapel length train. A matching headpiece with fingertip veil completed the ensemble and the bride carried a bouquet of yellow and white roses, stephanotis and baby's breath. Matron -of honor was Lynn Fitzgerald of Goderich, sister of the bride. She wore a blue bridal satin dress with spaghetti straps and sheer chiffon embroidered jacket and carried a silk., nosegay of yellow and white carnations and baby's breath. Bridesmaids were Cindy McKay of St. Catharines, cousin of the bride, Shelly Campbell of Edmonton and Gwyn McAdam of Crediton, both friends of the bride and Jo -Ann Bernard of R.R. 5 Clinton, sister of the groom. They were gowned the same as the matron of honor and carried the same flowers. Flower girl was Angela Clarke of R.R. 6 Goderich, friend of the bride. She wore a white sheer chiffon dress with spaghetti, straps and ruffles. She also wore flowers in her hair and carried a basket of silk daisies, stephanotis and baby's breath. , All the dresses, including the bride's dress, were made Mr. and Mrs. Paul Gaston Bernard (Photo by. The groom and his at tendants all wore tuxedos with white jackets trimmed in black with black vests and black. pants. • Following the wedding ceremony, a reception was held at Saltford Valley Hall Which was decorated with candelabras, streamers, flower hearts and .brandy snifters with daisies. Master of ceremonies was Ron Goddard, uncle of the bride and Ray Young, also an uncle of the bride, gave the toast to the bride. The bride's mother greeted guests wearing a banana shade sheer chiffon cocktail length dress with long sleeves and a bronze toned orchid corsage. The groom's mother assisted wearing a dusty rose gown with lace jacket ' and a corsage of pink roses. For a wedding trip to , Alberta, the bride changed to a mink colored two piece suit with silk orchid corsage. • Mr. and Mrs. Paul- Ber- ' nerd will reside in Fort McMurray.
