Golfers have too playthe game between the raindrops

I was listening to the radio
on Sunday and was informed
that since May 22, we have
only had 70 hours of sunshine
and only 16 hours have been
on weekends. Therefore,. I
hope everyone has been able
to get out golfing between
the rain drops and plan on
taking advantage of any
chances they get as condi-
tions don't seem to be im-
' proving. •
Men's night results were;
low gross - Brian Reeve; low
net - Fred Armstrong; 1st
flight - Don Armstrong; se-
cond flight - Art Burt, third
flight - Steve Buchanan, Pete
Teichert, Stew Huyck and
Kerry Willows.
A men's field day will be
held June 27.
Ladies' night results were:
first flight - Joyce Bolton and
Shirley Baechler; second
flight -. Mary Lynne Telford,
Rosemary Armstrong and
Marilyn Graham; third
flight - Dorothy Bourdeau,
Isabel MacDonald and
Grace Sale; and fourth flight

Haylow and Judy Crawford.
Closest to the pin was Joyce
Bolton.

It was sunny and cool as 46
men participated in Men's
Night on Monday, June 14.
The winner was Allan
McDonald, with second
going to Jack Gould, who
shot his best game of the
year so far. Bill Ross scored
well to place third.
Ladie's Night on Tuesday/
June 15, was rained out. five
die-hards tried to play, but
were forced in after only four
holes. The ladies are hoping
for better weather for our
guest night next week.
There was an excellent
turn out for the Spring Swing
Dinner -Dance on Friday,
June 18. Following dinner
the draw we have all been
