The Dungannon Twirlettes
would like to invite the public
to their second annual
majorette ---night- or- -Thur--
sday, June 3 in the GDCI
auditorium. The show, under
the direction of teacher
Sylvia Harman, begins at
7:30 p.m. Admission is $1 for
adults and 50 cents for
children:
The Twirlettes range in
age from five to 13: On
Saturday they participated
in Clinton's Klompenfeest
parade and you can watch
for them in other upcoming
parades in the area.
In order to raise money for
their club, the Twirlettes are
currently selling tickets on a
crazy quilt. These can be
purchased by phoning Kathy
Olson or Dianne Park.

An exposition, to provide
Ontario residents with in-
formation on -the programs
and services offered to them
by the government, is now at
the Suncoast Mall in
Goderich and will remain
there until Saturday.
Entitled "Self -Service",
the exposition is housed in a
45x8 foot tractor -trailer
which will . be travelling
throughout the province
during the next few months.
Both young and old will
find something of interest,
whether it be information on
the economy, agriculture,
social services or culture.
Admission is free and a
variety of material and
brochures is available on the
many activities of federal
departments and agencies.
The exposition is open each
day here from 10 a.m. to 9:30
p.m:

Moving grand pianos in
and out of Blyth Memorial
Hall has become a major
operation as the music and
theatre programs grow .
there. With this in mind, the
Board, of Directors has
undertaken the 'Great Grand
Piano Fund'. to raise money
to purchase a small grand
piano for the hall. Donations
are gratefully received and
can be sent to Blyth Centre
for the Arts, Box 291, Blyth
and marked "piano fund".

cleared harbor the same day
for Collingwood with grain.
The Captain John S.
arrived light from Sarnia
May 20 to load corn.
The Wanda cleared harbor
for' Windsor May 19 to load
corn.
The new Canadian Coast
Guard boat CG 126 arrived
here for the season on May
18.
Circle City
CB Club
meets
This month's meeting of
the Circle City CB Club was
held Sunday, May 16 with a
reasonable turnout of
members. The secretary's
report was read by Rice
Krispies, adopted by Gentle
Ben and seconded by Blue
Velvet. The treasurer's
report was read by
Graveyarder, adopted by
Rice Krispies and seconded
by Blue Velvet.
The club's assistance is re-
quested for the Bible Society
bike-a-thon Saturday, May
29 an& Jane Netzke of the
Goderich Recreation
Department has asked to
club to marshall the upcom-
ing Founder's Day parade on
June 27. More particulars
will be discussed at the next
meeting June 3.
