A blood donor clinic will be held in the GDCI auditorium today, Wednesday, April 28 -from 2-5 p.m. and 6:30-8:30 p.m. A free babysitting service will be provided in the afternoon. Please give the gift of life. +++ There will be a speaker and film on palliative care at Alexandra Marine ` and General Hospital on Tuesday, May 4 at 7:30 p.m. A palliative care service is being implemented at AM&G under the direction of Connie Osborn and volun- teers are needed. All those interested in volunteering for this service to dying patients are asked to attend the session May 4 or phone Mrs. Osborn for more in- formation. +++ David Anstett of Anstett Jewellers Limited, Clinton, attended the 1982 American Gem Society Conclave in New Orleans, April 23-27. The American Gem Society is a professional organization ofjewellers in the United States and Canada which sponsors a yearly conclave or educational convention for its members.
