The next euchre card party is planned for Thur - Way, May 13 at 8 p.m. WI Tiger Dunlop Women's Institute luncheon euchre card party and bake sale was held in Colborne Township - Hall, Wednesday, April 21 at 12:45 p.m. and proved to bea very enjoyable and suc- cessful event. All seemed to enjoy the appetizing lun- cheon and . • the game of euchre which followed. Winners were: white tallies, Mrs: Doris Batkin and Mrs.: Grusse; pink tallies, Mrs. Ruby Hackett and Mrs,. The bake table, displaying a lovely spring flower arrangement of pussy willows, daffodils and iris, made an attractive showing. It featured homemade pies, cookies, muffins, tea biscuits, candy, cakes, squares, tarts, loafs, etc. The members of the Institute were well pleased with the attendance and sincerely hope everyone enjoyed the afternoon and thank all for making a special effort to attend. Social News The members of Court Fascination of Benmiller Foresters held a garage and bake sale on Saturday, April 24. This proved to be a very successful event and the co- operation of the members was appreciated. The members wish to thank all for their patronage.
