Sheridan Villa in

Members decided that future
meetings would be held at
8:15 p.m.
Leaders Glen and Bob
McNeil discussed the future
club year and went over\the
club record books and an-
swered any questions
members had.

Christine Stapleton;
secretary, Linda Van Oesch;
press reporters, Brent Van
Oesch, Judy Walter and
Mary Catherine Stapleton;
and treasurer, Kevin Smith.

Institute luncheon euchre
card party and bake sale was
held in Colborne Township -
Hall, Wednesday, April 21 at
12:45 p.m. and proved to bea
very enjoyable and suc-
cessful event. All seemed to
enjoy the appetizing lun-
cheon and . • the game of
euchre which followed.

among several.
The bake table, displaying
a lovely spring flower
arrangement of pussy
willows, daffodils and iris,
made an attractive showing.
It featured homemade pies,
cookies, muffins, tea
biscuits, candy, cakes,
squares, tarts, loafs, etc.
The members of the
Institute were well pleased
with the attendance and
sincerely hope everyone
enjoyed the afternoon and
thank all for making a
special effort to attend.

successful event and the co-

this Thursday, April 29 with
a pot luck luncheon at 12:30
noon. , Annual and standing

installation of officers for
1982-83 by the District Presi-
dent will take place.
The studenis of Colborne Central School spent much of the school day Friday learning about
trees and other growing things and they put that knowledge to work in the aftelrnoon by
planting more than 100 trees around the school yard, Here several Grade 1 students lend a
