GETTING A LONG
TERM CAR LOAN?
DON'T GETA`
SHORT TERM CAR.
With interest rates
as high as 23%, and
car loans running as
long as four years, pay-
ing one back can look
a little like settling the
national debt.
Before you sign up
for that kind of com-
mitment, make sure
you selecta car that
will. last longer than
the payment book.
Consider a Volvo.
Volvos have an average
life expectancy of 18.7
years in Sweden. Of
course, driving condi-
tions in"Canada differ,
so your Volvo may not
last as long.Then again,
it may last longer.
What's more,
Volvo's comfort and
performance features
makeit the kind of car.
you'll want to keep for
a long time.
So this year, finance
a Volvo. You may not
laugh all the way to the
bank. But you won't
cry either.
