President Bowers gave highlights of the Zone Rally held in Zurich, which he and treasurer Mole attended. Bingo games for the public were discussed, and presid- ent Bowers is to look into the details involved. The application of Mrs. Audrey Fisher was ;resented and favorably received. President Sharon Scruton extended birthday and an- niversary congratulations to those celebrating this mon- th. It was pointed out that the plans for the Zone conven- tion on May 16 were nearing completion and all members were urged to attend the parade and meeting. In the course ofcommittee reports, Ann Sprung pointed out than the euchre team of Grace 'Mugford, Iris Samp- son, Bessie Bissett and Isobel MacDonald .has ad- vanced to provincial level and would be going to Tim- mins on May 1 to compete. "' At present there are nine participants attending the program from various areas in Huron County... Exeter, __ Goderich; Seaforth, Kingsbridge and - Ilensall. The program offers a day out for the participants to become involved in' social, recreational and educational activities. . A need to expand the program to more operating days is evident, however, this need cannot be realized without more volunteer helpers. Interested persons are needed to assist the staff in the day program and also in driving the participants to and from the Centre.
