'It was pointed out that the plans for the Zone conven- tion on May 16 were nearing completion and all members were urged to attend the •parade and meeting. In the course of committee reports, Ann Sprung.pointed out that the .euchre team of Grace Mugford, Iris Samp- son, Bessie Bissett and Isobel MacDonald has ad- vanced to • provincial level and would be going to Tim- mins on May 1 to compete. Centre, under the Canada Com- munity Developtrfent[ ,' At present there are nine participants attending • the program from various areas in '\Huron County...Exeter, Goderich, S.eaforth, Kingsbridge ' and . Hensall. The program offers a day out for the participants to become involved in social, recreational and educational activities. A need to expand the program to more operating days is evident, however, this need cannot be realized without more volunteer helpers. Interested, persons are needed to assist the staff in the day program and also in driving the participants to and from the Centre.
